Born and bred in Spain, Roberto started his Digital career with Nokia in Helsinki in the mid-nineties as head of Nokia’s Global Web team.
In 2004 Roberto moved to the UK to join easyJet.com, where he led easyJet.com’s transformation towards its current place as the leading low cost airline website.
In 2006 Roberto joined RSA as MORE TH>N Head of eBusiness. After a successful 2 ½ years on the role, he was asked to lead the effort of replicating MORE TH>N’s online success across Central and Eastern Europe for RSA.
In 2011 Roberto joined EDF Energy as Head of Digital, where he spearheaded the consumer business’ Digital transformation, before recently taking the challenge to develop a whole new Connected Home business area.
Neal is Head of Innovation at British gas and has four years of experience in Smart Metering, mostly as a technology architect, but more recently deriving value from smart data for operational efficiency, customer insight and new propositions as part of a vision for 2020.
Previously Neal worked in UK government, has an MA in Interaction Design along with 15 years experience in digital solutions ranging from video e-democracy to award winning transactional websites.
Rob has over 20 years of experience in delivering large scale transformational change, both within industry and as a consultant. Born and raised in Australia, Rob has worked across the globe for a variety of clients across numerous industries including Financial Services, Transport, Pharma and Media, where he helped shape and lead a 3 year transformation of the Supply Chain for one of the UK’s largest pay TV organisations. Over the past 10 years, Rob has focused on the Power and Utilities industry, helping his clients navigate an ever changing consumer, regulatory and political environment across Transmission, Distribution and Retail Energy. Rob led another 3 year programme to transform a UK distributor from a functional operating model to become a process led organisation, achieving a dramatic turnaround in regulatory performance.
Rob is currently working with a number of the large UK Energy Retailers, helping them to achieve their regulatory obligations (e.g. Smart Metering deployment), and advising them on how to react to new and disruptive business models, new market entrants and a dynamic energy landscape.
Dave Ward is Head of New Technology, Innovation and Connected Home at Dixons Carphone. Dave has been at Dixons Carphone for over 18 years in various positions across the business in Services, Commercial and Technical roles. Dave heads up Dixons Carphone expansion into connected home, where he is working on platforms, partnerships and product development. He previously headed the Dixons Carphone Own Brand Computing business responsible for design, sourcing and manufacturing; Advent became a leader in new technology launches across the computing categories, being first to market with many technologies. Dave has also led the design and launch of the new categories areas within Dixons Carphone for Smart Home, Wearables and Smart Watches creating dedicated areas across the Dixons Carphone store estate to demonstrate and grow these categories.
Lindley Gooden is a journalist and filmmaker who has worked at the very top levels of British broadcasting and news since the early 1990s.
He has worked in national radio and television as:
- A Senior BBC Journalist
- A presenter on channels as diverse as BBC One, Radio 1, BBC Three and Five and a range of other national and regional radio stations.
- The Consumer Affairs Correspondent on Sky News and Five
Prior to his years in the national media, he was known as the most successful Head of News in local commercial radio – launching new services and dramatically raising audience share and reach, using tools that have since been adopted by radio groups across the UK.
Lindley now works with companies, charities, government and other organisations creating and delivering their own media needs.
